HOW IT IS MADE

Our Vineyards on the Estate are well established and nurtured by people with knowledge of the local terroir and climate – some from families who have been in wine farming for many years.

They are careful and thorough as they know they have unique duties, based on the MolenVliet principle that superior wine is created in the vineyard.

Our belief of nominal intervention in the cellar is also applied to the handling of the wine, where gravity is used rather than force.

Limited planting of classic varietals, coupled with the introduction of up to date cellar practises for wine maturation has provided a firm foundation for the outstanding wines produced by MolenVliet.
