MolenVliet Lodge Facilities

MolenVliet is a ten bed Lodge situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve which consists of 36 000 hectares of unspoiled African bushveld ranging from rocky outcrops where the leopards watch from their hidden crevices to wide open savannah where the herds of Zebra, Wildebeest and Impala abound.

Traditional food and world-class wines are a certain luxury to be enjoyed by special arrangement or enjoy our wines with your own catering if you prefer a self catering package.

The entertaining areas, such as the lounge, bar and dining room, are surrounded by a wooden deck, where guests can relax for endless moments, or refresh in the pool.

Game Drives:
Game drives generally operate in the early mornings and late afternoons when viewing is at its best. Enjoy a crisp morning game drive with the beauty of the rising African sun as well as an evening drive, where the animals can be viewed in mysterious dark with the aid of a specially designed spotlight.

Sightseeing:
We offer a unique site seeing program, complete to meet each client's personal needs. Viewing the nearby bushman paintings is a great place to start, however the program is totally flexible fit your needs.

Transfers:
Transfers & returns are offered by MolenVliet Lodge from O.R. Tambo or Lanseria International Airport for your convenience, enabling a hassle free trip. MolenVliet Lodge can also arrange day tours and excursions to nearby attractions of your choice.

Landing facilities:
Welgevonden also offers landing facilities for light aircraft and helicopters by prior arrangement..
